Review: Ghostbusters Plasma Series 1 Action Figures (Hasbro)

Back at Toy Fair 2020 right before the country was shut down due to the pandemic, Hasbro revealed their first series in the new line of Ghostbusters Plasma Series Action Figures. Focusing on characters from the first Ghostbusters movie, released in 1984, this line of highly detailed action figures continue the high level of quality that fans have come to expect in other Hasbro lines like the Star Wars Black Series and Marvel Legends. Comprising of six base characters and one Build-A-Ghost (Figure), let’s check out this first Plasma Series Action Figures.

The six figures included in this series are the four main Ghostbusters (Egon Spangler, Peter Venkman, Ray Stanz, and Winston Zeddmore), leading lady Dana Barrett, and the “big bad” from the movie, Gozer. The Build-A-Ghost for this series is Gozer’s Terror Dog, Vinz Clortho.

Here is a closer look at each of the figures, along with their accessories.

I really like this first series of this Ghostbusters Plasma line of action figures, and I am also looking forward to the second series that is forthcoming, and based off the upcoming Ghostbusters: Afterlife movie.
