Review: TMNT Dorbz- Triceraton (Specialty Series)

Today, I take a look at one of the Funko Dorbz Specialty Series released in 2017. The Specialty Series lines of Pop! Vinyls and Dorbz were made exclusive to comic books, specialty stores, and smaller retailers to combat the bigger retailers getting all of the exclusives. Part of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle line, here is Triceraton.

Existing prior to TMNT and featured a lot in the comic books, the Triceratons are actually a race of triceratop-like humanoid characters. This Triceraton would best be categorized as a “soldier” version of the species, as featured in the 1980’s animated TV series.

The 1980’s action figure version of Triceraton was one of my favorites of my brother’s and my TMNT collection. When I found this recently for cheap, I decided to grab it as a reminder of thos good ole days.

Even though he was released roughly four years ago, he could still be randomly available at your local comic bookshop, specialty store, or small retailer. If not, there are probably a lot on the secondary market. If you want to add him to your collection, I am pretty sure that you won’t have a problem.
