Review: The Beatles GITD Chief Blue Meanie 3″ Titan

Happy New Year everybody! I hope you all had a wonderful holiday season. As 2021 starts, I am looking forward to reviewing more great products that I gathered throughout 2020 and into the new year. Let’s get started.

Today, I wanted to switch things up and do the occasional non-Funko related review. This piece is something I got earlier last year from Titan Merchandise. As I was not able to make San Diego Comic Con 2019, Andrew over at Titan gifted this to me at Toy Fair 2020, shortly before the pandemic shut things down. This piece, along with a bunch of others, was misplaced until recently, so I figured I would take the chance now to review it.

Here is the Limited Edition Glow-in-the-Dark Chief Blue Meanie from The Beatles 1968 film, Yellow Submarine.

Figure stands approximately 3″ tall, with neck and shoulder articulation. Packaging indicates it to be a Blue Meanie, but in reality it’s the Chief Blue Meanie, or “His Blueness”.

I tried to get a decent picture of the Titan glowing in the dark, but unfortunately the glow was too faint to register on the camera. There is a glow, though, so it is living up to the reason why it is an exclusive.

If you’d like to add this piece to your collection, Entertainment Earth has some of them up on their website, leftover from SDCC 2019. They also have other Beatles themed items from Titan Merchandise.
