Review: Harry Potter Rock Candy Vinyl Figures

Today, I check out a few of a small number of Rock Candy vinyl figures by Funko that were based on male pop culture characters. When it debuted, the Rock Candy line was exclusively featuring female characters. Some thought that Funko would keep it that way. However, when the Harry Potter line was announced, we saw that Harry, Ron, and others would make their Rock Candy debut. Let’s take a look at three from the 2018 wave: Harry Potter (with Prophecy Orb), Albus Dumbledore, and Lord Voldemort.

Harry Potter

This version of Harry is from the Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix film. He carries his wand and the Prophecy Orb that he finds in the Department of Mysteries, part of the Ministry of Magic.

Albus Dumbledore

This version of Dumbledore is fashioned after the second actor to play the role, Michael Gambon, and he carries his wand, revealed to be the Elder Wand, one of the Deathly Hallows.

Lord Voldemort

He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named stands ready to duel, and brandishing his wand, which shares “twin cores” with Harry’s wand.
